I started teaching GF baking and cookery classes at a local cookery school when I lived in Singapore. I also had the pleasure of teaching local cafes and restaurants there how to bake GF. I now live in the western suburbs of Paris, in Le Mesnil le Roi (between St Germain en Laye and Maisons Lafitte) and teaching here in my home kitchen, where I can work with small groups, always a plus point for greater learning and understanding.
Private classes are also available for individuals or groups of family (or friends!) of up to 4 people. You are free to choose recipes across the class menu lists, within time constraints for a longer 10h – 16h class covering approx 7 recipes. Group day classes run from 9h30 until approx 14h and include lunch of what we have made, plus sometimes a few extra items (as no one wants to eat just carbs for lunch, do they?!). On days where we make only sweet bakes then I will provide a simple (but delicious!) soup or salad and GF bread lunch with opportunity to take home a share of what we have made. We will make a minimum of 4 recipes. Cost is €75.
Group day classes include a mixture of demonstration and ‘hands on’. You will see everything made and participate in making some of it personally. Class is limited to a maximum of 4 students. All flours used in class are certified gluten free. Unless stated the classes are not suitable for dairy free/egg free/nut free participants, although possible substitutions will be discussed. All participants will be given a copy of the class booklet containing all the recipes.
Please note: A 30% (approx) deposit is required to secure your place on the class, fully refundable if you need to cancel more than 72 hours prior to class. If you need to cancel your place in my class less than 72 hours prior to the class starting then this deposit is not refundable. All classes are independent of each other – take one or take them all, in any order! Please notify me of any dietary requirements (other than gluten free) at the time of booking.
